Professional Window Cleaning

FAQ's

Frequently asked questions about professional window cleaning.

Dirt, debris, hard water, and acid rain can damage your windows eventually. These materials etch into the glass and cause scratches. In time, the view from your windows will become distorted. Professional cleaning removes corrosive contaminants from your windows, reducing the likelihood of scratches, chips, and cracks in the future.

With a professional window cleaning you will get better results than doing it yourself. In some instances, it may even be cheaper to hire a professional when you consider your valuable time and the price of going out and purchasing all the tools necessary to complete the job.  You also don’t have to worry about putting yourself or your employees at risk when trying to clean your own windows. Our team members are trained and insured to work at elevated heights.

No, we run a water fed pole window cleaning system that only uses purified water.

Water fed poles, commonly known as WFP, are long reach extendable poles and pure water is pumped up through them and sprayed onto the glass through a brush head. The brush then agitates the glass or frames as the water dissolves dirt which is then washed away by the continual spray of purified water.

Unlike most traditional window cleaners, skilled users of the water fed pole system usually clean not just the windows but the frames as well, resulting in a better overall finish. In addition, the beauty of the system is that it doesn’t limit window cleaners to just cleaning windows.

Window Washing Should Be Done Routinely

Over time, your windows build up a layer of dirt, water deposits, streaks, smudges, and fingerprints. This grime can obscure the incoming light and become an unsightly distraction to employees and visitors. Windows that are cleaned three to four times a year can make your business environment more appealing. Sparkling windows help to create a positive first impression for your customers. They tell your customers that you are conscientious and pay attention to details. And, they help promote your retail products in the best possible light. Also, unfiltered sunlight can improve your employees’ mood while increasing their productivity.

Hard Water Removal

Glass is porous, and corrosion will occur to a point where only 3 options will be open. First, chemical treatment. If that does not work, grinding and polishing the glass is your next step. If neither of those two does not work, you will need to replace the glass, which could potentially cost hundreds if not thousands of dollars.

Paint "Overspray" Removal

Paint can splatter and travel when aerosolized, especially when it is windy. When it lands on glass, it is called “overspray”. This overspray can be removed but it requires an extra few steps.

Stucco also seems to find a way onto glass during construction…
